Clyro CIW Primary School

At Clyro Church in Wales School, we get to know the individual needs and talents of each child. This enables us to inspire a positive approach to learning, give courage to embrace new experiences and instil an appetite to achieve potential and dreams.

Creative learning, tailored to each child, embraces the flexibility that the new Welsh curriculum provides to fulfil each child’s achievement and attainment goals. We are leading the way with the new Areas of Learning and Experience structure and believe that the best learning environment is created when children, parents, staff and, above all, fun and creativity, are involved.

It is this mix that we strive to achieve at our school, resulting in confident, well-rounded individuals who are well-equipped for their future.

Please call the school office or email us, to arrange a visit or ask any questions.

School prospectus

The Right Reverend John D P Lomas, Bishop of Swansea and Brecon explains how our ethos and values partner with the curriculum to benefit each child at Clyro CiW School.

Clyro Pre School offers a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children in our care, to learn and play. We are based in a large and welcoming space, within Clyro School, with our own dedicated facilities. This allows the children to integrate with the school for activities and events and encourages a seamless transition to start their school journey.

We offer 3-4 year old educational provision Monday – Friday from 8.00am – 3.30pm.

3+ funded sessions are for children the term after their third birthday.
